Holy Smokes! COR Meetings start at St Cyril's for Lent
Why do we have our Family Night events?
Our Immediate Past Grand Knight noticed other councils having Family Nights events and observed a positive result in those councils. Knights in a council often get to know each other at meetings and events but when councils had Family Nights -- their spouses and children also got to know each other better. After several events, the children and spouses looked forward to a chance to see “their” friends at Knights' events.
Families that Pray Together Stay Together. As families’ friendships grew, so also did their parishes and communities. Pancake Breakfasts, Summer Picnics, Family Nights, Christmas, St Patrick’s Day and other parties provide more opportunities to know other Catholic Families during good times. It also establishes bonds for prayer and support during not so fortunate times – when we all occasionally need a little help.
That’s why we have Family Nights.
